WeatherBalloon Weekly Wrap-up #1

At the urging of the team, I’m going to try to get into the habit of doing a weekly wrap-up, in order to properly put my thoughts down on paper.

  1. First and primarily, discussions with ApeSwap have continued. We are on track to being approved by them for their full support.

2. The artwork renders have been completed, the database back-end is running properly (but not sorting right, need to fix this before launch).

3. I’ve been in discussions with my developer, he is working hard on the scripts; unfortunately, due to the relative complexity, we don’t have a turnaround date. Once I have them, and verify they work properly, I’ll need to pay for an audit to verify the security of the contracts.

4. The site update looks phenom, in my opinion! Along with the new links center, we’re looking very good.

5. I have a few surprises up my sleeve, but the primary focus is ensuring these contracts are turned around and do what is needed. Once this has been completed, my focus will expand outward to building the rest of the ecosystem.

6. Our MineCraft server went live this week as well! I spent a few days setting it up, and so far, it’s gotten 10/10 raving reviews from everyone who has logged in. Planning on having a community competition of sorts soon, but we need more competitors! If you have Java MineCraft on PC, feel free to point it at play.weatherballoon.space! And to get a view of what the map looks like, check it out!

7. Finally, our artist has completed a set of Telegram stickers! Join the Telegram and come check them out!

That was a lot! Now, for a bit of fun news!

WeatherBalloon Giveaway!

We’ve begun our WeatherBalloon giveaway! Full details are available here!
